Two former JoAnn employees, Linda and Heidi, wanted to support the grieving sewing community of Ulster County in some small way. Without JoAnn, our local sewists now must travel over 30 miles to buy fabric.
When we proposed a creative reuse shop for sewists, the response was overwhelmingly positive. So, we got to work, found an available retail space, and voila! FrugalFabrics was born.
