What's New
Hi Friends! You may have noticed a change to our letterhead. A wonderful artist has created new “branding” for our little shop, and we are working to incorporate it into all of
our communications.
The shop is coming along – it has been freshly painted, and we are beginning to fill the shelves. There have already been some truly lovely fabrics donated, but as you can see, we have room for lots more!
Ready to De-Stash?
Did JoAnn force you to buy more than you needed with the recent 2-yard minimum? Donate what you have left over, and we’ll give you a Piggy Passport stamp for each yard you
donate. Once you reach 10 yards, you’ll get one free yard of any fabric!
Spring is a great time to de-stash, and we are ready to accept donations of clean, odor free fabric (1/2 yard minimum – don’t worry if you have smaller pieces mixed in), yarn, notions, sewing/knitting accessories and tools.
We are at the shop most days now, but we still require appointments for donations. Please call or email for a drop-off appointment, or we will come to you! 845-392-4348 or email
Workshops
The free Opening Day workshop project, Make a Piggy Potholder, will be held on April 22 and through Saturday, April 26 so long as supplies last! You can select your pre-cut pieces
and create your potholder at the shop with our guidance. Or take the pieces home to assemble at your convenience.
Our Mother’s Day Workshop will be on May 3. Students in this 2-hour class will create a 6-pocket tote bag as a perfect gift for mom. Ages 12 and up or under 12 with a parent
attending and helping. $40 per student includes materials. Class size is limited, so email
